According to the AFU, Russia has lost 2 954 tanks, 5 012 armored fighting vehicles and 6 466 artillery guns in 2023 alone. At this rate, Russia will have lost 100% of its main combat vehicles in 2025 (including stock).

3. I suppose that projected rate of attrition doesn’t take into account Russian efforts to switch to a war economy and increase production of weapons systems?

4. Better than that they will start losing the capacity to field full strength units long before they run out of replacements. Just because of standard wear and repairs. And many more of the units being reconditioned now were probably passed earlier because of extra work or parts needed.
