    >The photo shows the seven members of the Federal Council and the Federal Chancellor in the Federal Palace East, in front of a canvas with a mountain panorama: mountains from various regions of Switzerland can be recognised, for example the Matterhorn, San Salvatore, the Chasseral and the Säntis.
The mountain world in the interplay of light and shadow is intended to symbolise typical Swiss values. In President Viola Amherd’s presidential year, three values in particular will take centre stage, as they gain in importance in difficult times: Confidence that Switzerland can master the challenges of the times with its strengths. Solidarity in order to share responsibility and take courageous decisions. Foresight to take the right steps today to overcome the hurdles of the future with vigour.
“Global events are unsettling many people in Switzerland. In times like these, decisive action is needed. The common thread for this should be our shared values,” says Federal Councillor Viola Amherd, who will be President of the Swiss Confederation in 2024. The photo symbolises the fact that the Federal Council also stands up for these values and works together against the backdrop of these values.

  2. Bumped into Rösti couple of days ago. Absolute tool of a human being.

  3. Idk why but it looks like a promo photo for a sitcom or an office drama

  4. On their way to apply their sets of skills to stop an asteroid

  5. Can we just phase out suits? Everyone looks like “generic middle aged white (wo)man”.

  6. Looks like they are individual stills that were taken of them walking in motion, and then they were combined together or something. Look at how their feet are positioned. It also looks to be very a.I generated, like something from midjourney

  7. This looks so goofy. Why is there a big canvas of mountains behind them? Why is it not big enough to be a full background? Why are they walking away from it?

  8. It looks so unnatural for people to be midstride like that with an obstacle directly behind them. Terrible photo.

  9. It’s switzerland you can just go to some window and get a gorgeous view why get that small cloth mural behind you

  10. When I think of swiss people, this is the exact image I get. Middle-aged – old people in suits.

  11. Looks like a promo shot for a heist movie. But you already did say Swiss…

  12. They both look like they are standing still and moving at the same time

  13. Chocolate eating, fondue assholes, money controlling pedos. 🤮
