Pep is a perfectionist purist that it’s his way or no way.
Zlatan has ego, pep doesn’t like that trait in his players hence why we have cancelo. Pep wants soldiers not players that will disobey him. It’s one of the reasons he wanted eto and dinho out.

Stats don’t show everything you about a teams or a players success
33 g/a and considered bad. Now we celebrate if one of our attackers gets double digits in g/a
Zlatan was definitely good enough for Barca but Pep and Zlatan both have egos so one had to go and in this case it was Zlatan. With a different manager it could’ve worked out for him at Barca. But that’s the way it goes
I remember how good he was. He was amazing but sadly it effected messi performance and we were at our best with a false 9 messi.
