(The title was mostly Google translated XD)
I am a travel vlogger and I will be visiting Estonia in some months. I’m currently studying the Estonian language a bit each day using [this app called Ling](https://ling-app.com/?referrer=borschbandit) . I have only used it every day for a week, so I can’t really say how good it is yet.
I have a pretty sufficient background in Duolingo, and probably the best thing about that app is just the motivation that comes along with maintaing a daily streak. However, I was pretty disappointed to see that the Estonian language is not on Duolingo.
Looks like it is on the Ling app here. It does remind me of Duolingo, but I’ll say in the first week it has you learning more useful conversational sentences compared to the randomised stuff you start with in Duolingo. Also a lot of the less popular languages on Duolingo have robotic voices for listening comprehension, whereas this app has been fully voice acted in Estonian which is helping me get a feel for the pronunciation.
Anyway, has anyone used this app before to learn Estonian? What were your thoughts? If you didn’t use the Ling app to learn Estonian, what did you use and how well did it work?
Aitäh!
