This happened down near my ould lads homeplace…..the bloke who died unnoticed, genuinely wouldn’t wanted it any other way
Felt bit crappy for his siblings though
Have a neighbour who lives about 500m away. Doesn’t open the door to anyone. Bushes and trees block the windows and he has cut a tunnel through them to get to his door. Goes shopping maybe once or twice a month. House seems to be falling down around him. Neighbours stopped him on his shopping trips and offered to cut the bushes, fix the roof, cook a dinner for him now and again and all were politely refused. He seems in poor health too and I won’t be surprised when we hear a similar story of being found etc. It’s sad but there isn’t a lot that can be done.
Awfully sad.
Wonder if that person who was whinging about a friend checking through their windows for them has seen this…
Not saying this is the case in this instance, but a lot of comments feeling sorry and wondering what can be done for similar people they know. Is it wrong to just accept that this is how some people want to live and they can’t be arsed with the pandering?
