  1. Toxic is a good way of describing about 90% of the comments made about him on /r/ireland.

  2. This just in, Eamon Ryan declares sky, is in fact blue.

  3. If you don’t like a politicians policies then argue, vote and campaign against them.

If you need to jump straight to lies, insults, conspiracies etc. then maybe your argument isn’t as convincing as you’d like to think it is.

  4. So are the lies and spin that politicians regularly tell us.

    Whatcha going do.

  5. I heard people spread other rumours about him too:

    1. Up until 2020 he was driving a 2003 diesel van.

    2. In 2008 he championed diesel engines as the green solution and supported tax breaks for then whilst in government.

I’m amazed that anyone thinks the public would believe a Green Party minister would be stupid enough to do either of those things

  6. The amount of people who think the spoof article about him wanting Driving Home For Christmas banned is absurd. Learn some media literacy, folks!

  7. Maybe because for common folk housing, healthcare, affordability etc are more pressing matters than anything to do with environment?

  8. I’m gobsmacked daily at the amount of disinformation on Reddit and other sites. I’ve learned over time that it’s not worth attempting to correct posters as they don’t want to hear facts, they’ll obfuscate, insult (oh how they love to insult) and eventually ignore, but they will never recognise the truth.

  9. Disinfo is what the people say about the government, never the inverse.

    Odd that eh?

  10. He’s so out of touch, he and is ilk are harmful to society and our to make our lives even more difficult. They’d have us cycling everywhere and never coming in foreign holidays. Ruining the farming industry. Increased fuel prices and taxes.

  11. Yeah it’s a shame the bullshit that’s been pumped over the years around housing, infrastructure, education, healthcare……I remember trying to bring it up here a few years back to be fired down by people peddling disinformation and bullshit.

Maybe look towards the current government and the bullshit they peddle to keep theirs and their buddies stream of revenue going, as that seems to be the issue I’ve been seeing for years in this nations.

No surprise others are copying it, folk tend to copy social behaviours.
