Why dont the US or someone just set up an air base in Kyiv as part of a security agreement? Would discourage any future attack by land and free up Ukrainian resources. Also could provide air defence without giving additional resources to Ukraine. Which could potentially avoid the stalemate in US gov.
And republicans in the US couldn’t be bothered to unblock the flow of weapons to Ukraine. The number of missiles getting through makes me wonder if Ukraine is running short of air defense ammunition. We know the air defenses in Ukraine are capable of shooting down something like 96% of incoming attacks, depending.
It’s a damn shame these politicians are celebrating the birth of Jesus all while letting innocent people be slaughtered. Shame on them.
