My wife and I still have another week off and we’re binging Sharpe.

What need is there in a Napoleon war drama to have an awesome guitar shred? The theme slaps with the ballistic force of the full rifle company.

  1. You ever wonder if Sean Beans deaths post sharpe are karma for him cheating death so many times in the napoleonic wars?

  2. Where’s your source for streaming? I’ve found them on YouTube with spanish subs but would prefer a more reliable source preferably upgraded to HD.

  3. The electric guitar works so well and it is also so out of place. All very 90s but I love it.

    If they made it now they’d probably stick to accurate instruments of the time and it would be crap.

  4. Sharpe was awesome bar the weird wolf episode.

    Simmerson = awesome

    Hogan & OG Wellington = awesome

    Hakeswell = awesome

    Wolfman & The One Where Gene Hunt is Sharpe’s brother = toss

  5. Appreciating the Sharpe theme tune, now that’s soldiering!

  6. You need something to really inspire you to have the ability to fire three rounds a minute in any weather. Because that’s what makes a proper soldier.

  7. Shredding guitar for your intro! Now that’s soldiering.

  8. As long as everyone bar the producers are sure you don’t spit bullets into a musket or rifle.

    where on earth did they even get that from?!

    Theme is fire though, as was John Tamm’s wonderful musical additions.
