Urban combat is hell.
When it’s innocent civilians idf is amazing when it’s actual combat they cry like they did in that other vid.
Israel’s military is famously “casualty adverse”. We’ve had a few years now of the Ukraine conflict highlighting fairly evenly matched militaries engaging each other. We’ve seen many videos of enormously brave acts and selflessness.
The IOF propaganda, although they are _clearly_ trying to communicate bravery and struggle, fail miserably. Just feels as flat as the AK’s stuffed in a MRI machine. We see the real thing every day in this sub, adn imo these guys are cow-*cough* “casualty adverse”.
Yep that’s urban warfare. Pretty gnarly stuff, taking contact from multiple directions with limited egress routes. Nightmare stuff. Good to see they evacuated their guys tho.
I am really sorry for these guys. Nobody should suffer for this, war sucks, etc., but you can’t expect to go full genocidal without having some casualties.
