  1. BEIRUT (AP) — Hezbollah’s TV station says top Hamas official Saleh Arouri killed in an explosion south of Beirut.

  2. Very big news.

    He’s number 2 or 3, I think?

Especially it’s the first Israeli strike in Beirut since 2006 if I’m not mistaken.

  3. Good riddance. He has been in the US list of terrorist since 2015.

  4. This won’t be the last one. What Hamas did was unforgivable. And to make it worse, they doubled down on it. Their leaders will be quivering at this news.

  5. I’m not OMG-PRO-ISRAEL…but isn’t this the sort of targeted strikes that critics of the Gaza war claim Israel could be carrying out instead?

Because if its not THIS, then then critics of Israel should just admit they dont actually want Israel to retaliate for 07-Oct-2023…

  6. how long until people try to say this is a bad thing like when the US air striked Soleimani

  7. We are in killing Hamas business. And the business is booming.

  8. The right to provide justice for 10/7 is an absolute human right tor Israel.

  9. There’s footage of Al-Arouri from October 7 watching the footage of Hamas’s attack being broadcasted on Al-Jazeera, with the rest of Hamas’s leadership (from a safe hotel room in another country), and then prostrating in prayer and thanking God.

It was also reported that other senior Hamas commanders died in the strike.

  10. Excellent news. He was on USA’s wanted list since 2015 and US Department of Justice was offering reward of $5 million for information leading to his identification or location.

  11. A month ago, the Israeli defense minister was asked by a reporter “when are we going to decide the Hezbollah attacks crossed the line?”, his response was “when you’d see the Israeli airforce in Beirut, that’s when you’d know they crossed the line”.

  12. Mossad will get every single Hamas leader. Mark my words.

  13. On the eve of the 4th anniversary of the assassination of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mahdi.‌‌..

Following the assassination of Salah Al-Arouri: Hezbollah threatens to fire missiles at Gush Dan tonight (Maariv)‌‌ (tel aviv. metro area). Hezbollah likes to keep its promises.

(For those who have some free time tomorrow is a “יום זעם” – A Day of Rage)

[btw the Palestinian sources refer to al-Arouri as “Engineer Toufan al-Aqsa” – meaning the engineer of the Oct. 7th attack. ]

  14. Of all the Hamas leaders, Saleh Al-Arouri was closest to Khomeini and has been pictured with him many times. Interestingly, comander of Quds Force of Ianian Revolutionary Guard Qasim Soleimani was also killed by US on 2nd January of 2020.

  15. Even after the war in Gaza is over, I highly doubt Israel will stop going after Hamas leadership.

  16. Looking at social media comments, TIL that tons of people are blaming Israel for the 2020 explosion in Lebanon. What a joke.

  17. if the photo I saw on telegram is real and is of this dude, HE GONE

  18. Man, the mental gymnastics going on over at /Palestine is something else..
