[FCIN1908] Roberto Alessi, director of the newspaper Novella 2000, gave a possible scoop on the future of Mauro Icardi: “In Milan there is rumors that Mauro Icardi could return to play for Inter and I hope that is so. I don’t know if it’s true, in any case their first home is in Milan.”

    Sure, we do need help in attack and he was a prolific scorer here. And I don’t doubt on some level he wants to come back, esp bc times are better these days and he wants to get in on it

    But our financial situation probably means we’re not shelling out the money Wanda (and Mauro) wants. Also I don’t put it past them to start some petty nonsense over how he deserves the captain armband back or something.

    But if they can keep their egos in check and the money isn’t a problem, I wouldn’t be opposed. Aside from a couple UCL group games, it’s clear Alexis Sanchez is not a solution. He’s been a disaster in Serie A especially

  2. I’d only take him if we don’t have to deal with Wanda. Too much baggage and terrible look to deal with her. Icardi is an incredible poacher and I wouldn’t say no to having him back. But him and Wanda would have to accept that there’s no way he would be a starter. I think Icardi can put his ego aside and accept that, but I don’t trust Wanda too. But if we can keep her out of the picture, the deal would absolutely work out for both parties

  3. I don’t mind it, on one condition : wanda doesn’t get to say/hint a single word about Inter, ever, anywhere.. no social media bs, no shows on italian tv, no interviews, nothing, nada, niente.
