Hello everyone,
as stated I work in Luxembourg and have my place of residence registered here so my income tax is here.
I recently wanted to start Investing into “Robo ETF” from [weltsparen.de](https://weltsparen.de) and they ask me what country my residence is. When I hit Luxembourg I was no longer allowed to do so.
I assume this is only Tax related? Would it be okay then to register it as german to my german apartment since I would probably only need to pay fees when I withdraw money?
Sorry for the weird phrasing, but I have no clue about investments etc.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to put your money somewhere declaring a “fake” tax residence country. Even if you managed to open an account now, you might end up having your funds suddenly blocked later, if they ask you to provide additional KYC documentation at any moment and you don’t cannot provide it.
From comments from a friend, I believe that Interactive Brokers accepts customers from Luxembourg (Disclaimer: I have no experience with them). For sure there are more options.
