  1. Why not leave nature do it’s thing! I think in these times to advocate the killing of an animal cos it has flu is a dangerous precedent!

  2. Bird flu would be huge news in normal times. It’s scary how few people on Facebook realise they shouldn’t approach sick birds. Keep getting stories from locals asking what to do with them.

  3. I think it’s a little irresponsible of the media to jump on any bird flu story the way they do.

    I mean mid 2000s it was every week we would die from this or swine flu.

    Eventually nothing ever came of it. Despite there being loads of outbreaks and culled birds all the way up until present day.
    But ever since the coronavirus showed up they jump at the chance to make a big song and dance over every case.

    I’m not saying there isn’t potential to become a human transmission disease. but it is clear as day they are trying to whip up hysteria and in the current climate it is just shitty journalism at its finest.
