Took me 2 hours to get home from work today because everywhere was flooded. Usually takes half an hour.
Even for the UK this weather is just awful.

I see a lot of newer estates from sorta late 00s onwards round my way being built in former floodplains. Then people wonder why their gardens always a quagmire when it drizzles and starts to flood when it rains.

Upton in Severn enters the chat. In was a typo but decided it was more fitting than the traditional on. The Severn has been up and down more than a tart’s knickers recently and it is getting very boring.
Good excuse for a day off work though always a bright side?
