Poland deployed 2 F-16 fighter Jets to its border with Ukraine this morning after it was informed that a massive wave of Russian missile strikes was planned against Ukraine. Poland will use its F-16s to shoot down any Russian missiles heading for Polish territory.

  1. One interesting takeaway:
They sent f16s, a very known quantity at this time.
Not f35s, not activating state of the art and secret ait defenses, the F16s the russians already know.

Not giving any chance to gather intelligence on the radar returns of f35s, or radar emissions and locations of AA defenses. Poland is not frakking around.

  2. No, Poland will not shoot down everything. This would give away radar signatures which are still a secret. It will shoot down if a rocket goes towards a major city but will only monitor any stray rocket inbound to Ukraine. That’s what Polish analysts say and whatever this X post is, it was not confirmed by any Polish media that I am aware of. Trust me bro, i am polish and there was not a single day in the last 670 that i did not listen to nato/Polish brass.

  3. W-what i-if our rockets were to “get lost” and “violate” Ukrainian airspace and “accidentally” collide with the oncoming russian rockets? Honest mistake.

  4. I predict that Poland will define “heading for” in the absolutely most liberal way possible.
