China’s BYD is selling more electric cars than Tesla. China is progressing quickly in its transition to electric vehicles, thanks to strong government support for the industry. To offset the slowing domestic market, Chinese car makers have been seeking growth outside the mainland.

This will change when EU adds the anti dumping tariffs
BYD company is so big on so many levels:
Here are some products:
Gasoline and electric cars, battery-powered bicycles, buses, trucks, forklifts, monorail train and buses, photovoltaic modules (solar panels), face masks, rechargeable batteries, energy storage and handset components.
Same account accused of pushing pro US propaganda a couple weeks ago, I don’t believe you were then or pushing anything now…
Over the year as a whole Elon Musk’s Tesla (TSLA) still outpaced BYD, selling 1.8 million electric cars. BYD sold 1.57 million electric vehicles, up 73% on 2022
Which is different than just selling more in 1 quarter. As a commission earner some sales I do I hold back until my next paycheck to make me look and feel better then. I might even push things out early.
I don’t understand why it’s news, but good for them
China overtakes Japan as biggest car exporter in the world, and lots of people think because the EV, but when you look into the number, around 60% car exported in 2023 are actually petrol cars. EV from China is only getting started.
