O.K. So the presidency is not a “Commit any crime you want” card.
Why is he not in jail?
The defendant has shown time and time again an utter disregard for the rule of law, the authority of the courts, and has attempted to stir violence against court officers and their families countless times.
This is Karma. “Judge not, lest ye be judged”
As president, Trump signed the death warrant of an accomplice to a bank robbery who did not have a gun, and did not go into the bank. All he did was drive the getaway car in a robbery gone bad, resulting in a death in the bank.
By inciting the riot, Trump was also an accomplice in a wrongful death.
This is probably why Twitter suspended his account shortly afterwards. I’ll bet that their lawyers thought that they could be held liable as accomplices to murder too.
Ultimately we’re arguing that violence is only the domain of the state, so unless we’re willing to assert that we have no power.
It’s disgusting that trump did what he did not to mention that he’s trying to say that overturning an election was part of his duties
I feel like the coroner believes the pepper spray is what caused Sicknick’s stroke, but won’t say that in plain language for fear it will open up the government at all levels to a bunch of wrongful death lawsuits.
SuperMax. Done. This does not have to be hard.
