  1. Senator Sanders is yet again at the head of the list for ethical, moral, and compassionate members of the USA Congress.

  2. remember, folks. this could’ve been our president.

    *remember*.

  3. Regarless on your opinion if the war is ‘immoral’ or not, calling it “Netanyahu’s war” does not reflect reality as it has very wide support accross israeli parties

  4. Excellent. We should not be funding brutal apartheid militaristic regimes.

  5. Bernie is the man. Fuck Netanyahu for massacring refugee camps.

  6. As he should. We’ve gone well past the point where one can reasonably argue that Israel is acting in self-defense, and our no strings attached support of Israel has already cost thousands of innocent lives.

  7. 1) We know Netanyahu has propped up Hamas, and has been extremely devisive and is a criminal at this point, but it doesn’t change the fact of what Hamas did, swears to keep on doing and continues to detain more than 100 presumed alive hostages.

    2) Netanyahu is only one member of the war cabinet in command of this war. The cabinet included Benny Gantz who should be and most likely will be the next PM once asshole Netanyahu is gone. Anyone calling this “Netanyahu’s war” is simply misinformed. This war was started by Hamas, when they raped, kiled and intentionally burned alive entire families intentionally to send a message that they are inflicting holocaust like casualties.

    3) Hamas as mentioned vows to continue killing all Jews and vows to wipe Israel off the map, the genocide the other side accuses Israel of as projection. So exactly what do you folks who want a “ceasefire” expect normal, centrist, level headed Israelis to do here? Just let Hamas continue their daily unfounded attacks? Just leave the hostages there? Would the U.S. allow Mexico to just randomly kill Americans and take them hostage?

    4) The “apartide state” doesn’t work as a narrative in Gaza. It was handed over to Gazans in 2006, and ever since, no one wants to deal with the Hamas controlled Gaza, including the Egyptians who have stricter border policy than Israel.

    5) I’m all for a ceasefire, as most Israelis are, as soon as Hamas surrenders the remaining hostages and agrees to hand over the government they stole from the Palestinian people back to the Palestinian people who are suffering from their evil rule.

    6) It’s noteworthy that the leaders of Hamas are worth a combined $11 billion, as they rape, steal and brutally suppress their own people.

  8. It’s also profoundly contrary to US interests to be funding Israel’s genocide against the Palestinians.

[Columbia Professor Jeffrey Sachs: The US is ‘isolated globally for supporting Israel’](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58Vuq0qnUCQ)

AIPAC/Israel controlling the US government is not only an embarrassment, it’s also a catastrophic national security risk for our foreign policy to be controlled by a foreign nation for their interests, no matter the expense to the American people and our interests.

Israel is a lot closer to a brain-controlling parasite than an ally to the American people, and that obvious truth needs to be said loudly and often rather than being made taboo through weaponized accusations of “antisemitism” among other bullying tactics.

  9. It’s deeply troubling that republicans have 8 million problems with us helping Ukraine against an actual invasion from russia, who’s literally a military superpower who has a history of doing shit like this

But will turn around and see isreal leveling hospitals, schools, refugee camps, homes/apartments, and other targets with a high chance of killing civilians and go “yeah, fund them, they’re doing it right, those civilians just shouldn’t have been there.”

I look forward to the day they meet god and have to justify supporting the brutal bombing of a population with the mean age of 19.

  10. can’t wait for fox to call the liberal jewish man antisemitic

  11. Uh, why?

Hamas started it. The pity card don’t work once a country escalates. They could give up the hostages.

  12. Yeah they crossed the line a while ago in Gaza. And I don’t know why America is let as their only major ally in this whole thing. (I do believe that we told other NATO countries to stay out, which we shouldn’t if they want to help)

  13. Cut them off. We’re about to need funding to fight a civil war.

  14. I love Bernie, but he should’ve ignored all the critics who thought he didn’t talk enough about issues like this. A lot of his disappointing comments came after that. When he was more of old-school liberal on social issues and full on left-wing for economic ones, he was at his best.

  15. What about the daily barrage of rockets send by Hamas and Hezbollah? If Israel is under attack, isn’t it their duty to eliminate the enemy promptly?
