Trump smells
I thought it was Antifa? Daddy Putin won’t like this.
Anticipating the response of the magas in my life if i point out this hypocrisy: “Nah, the russian stuff was still all made up, but now Trump is using the deep state’s own tricks against them! This way he’s going to PROVE the election was stolen and not by russia, by forcing the deep state to produce the truth in discovery and cross!”
No wonder Trump stinks. He and his MAGA team are full of BS.
As the president for 4 years after it was known that the Russians are interfering with US elections, what steps did trump take to secure elections?
Rhetorical question, yet another instance of trump being a traitor and violating his oath.
Trump needs to stand next to a window if he’s gonna point fingers at Putin.
This smells like Trump’s legal team wants to get out ahead of evidence that *there was Russian interference.*
From the article:
>“**Evidence of covert foreign disinformation campaigns relating to the 2020 election** supports the defense argument that President Trump and others acted in good faith even if certain reports were ultimately determined to be inaccurate.”
Considering Trump’s [close communication with Putin,](https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/01/13/trump-putin-meetings-interpreter-notes/2565471002/) Donnie’s ego won’t let him admit he was an absolute puppet.
So, did Russia want Trump and failed? Or did Russia succeed at stopping Trump’s insurrection? It’s very confusing.
If Trump is upset at Russia getting him elected, why did he hide / destroy the national security documents that demonstrated Russia’s actions?
Literally flinging shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.
So Russian disinformation made Trump ignore his own domestic and national security advisors? We’re supposed to say, “oops, no problem then, it’s ok you attempted a coup because you were deceived by the Evil Russians.”
Pull the other one, it has bells on it.
It’s no surprise to everyone here that Trump is doing everything humanly possible to delay until he can possibly be President again and hide under more legal ambiguity.
I really, REALLY wish we’d get one of these trials or Supreme Court Rulings soon.
I can’t believe his lawyers are saying you can’t blame Trump for public discord and distrust of the 2020 election. Dude was saying it was fraudulent months before it even happened. He’s the most to blame out of any factor. Lol
>The filings say that his lawyers hope during the trial to point to people in the federal government he suspects are biased toward him
Is this Trump’s attempt at throwing somebody (step forward Rudy) under the bus?
So now their argument is that there WAS election interference from foreign actors, but it was in Biden’s favor? If that were true, which is hard to accept based on what happened in 2016, we are supposed to believe Trump didn’t say/do anything about it at the time? I’m skeptical.
So Donnie’s defense is “A big boy made me do it”?
Putin told trump to claim the election was stolen. Trump claimed the election was stolen. Right wing media followed his lead and churned up loads of conspiracy theories. Now Trump is claiming Russian interference is what made him falsely believe the election was stolen? He was the key source of that disinformation.
These filings are delay tactics. Each motion requires a response. His ‘demands’ to access classified docs and depose umpteen government officials would easily push the trial back by a year.
Mike Flynn and Paul Manafort were Trump officials working for Russia, so he’s kind of right, but also guilty.
He has the worst attorneys.
So doesn’t this make Putin the enemy of the GOP now? Will the GOP change its tune and become advocates for the US to send military and monetary aid to Ukraine?
It was indeed Russia. But they helped him trying to overthrow the government.
When your ship is sinking, poke holes in the bottom to let the water out!
Where are we on the narcissists creed?
“It wasn’t my fault”
“The Russians made me do it”
That is one hell of a defense, let see how it works out
2017: “No Collusion™️!”
2024: “no, collusion?”
I, POTUS, was completely duped by those Russians. Who was I supposed to believe – Putin or my own intelligence community?
None these conspiracy defenses matter because none of them justify or excuse what he is accused of.
If Dominion had cheated, the Russians had interfered, or God Himself came down and declared the election was in fact stolen, that still does not permit a president to conspire or attempt to interfere with state elections, with the Electoral College or the counting of their votes.
