In the 70s in Albania no one other than party officials had cars. Everyone had bicycles. A middle class family had two bikes. The weather permits using a bicycle year-round here.
The opposite is true now. It’s either cars or nothing. We haven’t come full circle yet. I’m glad NL has.
I wish the same was in Cyprus.. Families of 4 have a car for each member, tragic to say the least.

Ok, no joke, I know every cm of this town. Recognized immediately “sigarenmagazijn in ‘t Vosje” at the end of the street there, and the SSH student housing complex to the right… So this must be Keizerstraat 🙂
