Where did you get the image OP? I see the weight is now 200g, I’m pretty sure it used to be 1/2lb, as in 227g. Are Kerrygold after pulling a less for same price?!
Why did you decide to get rid of the term “mainland”?
I always buy unsalted and just salt it myself now. Was baking a lot during lockdown 1 and 3 so got into the habit. Just sprinkle some sea salt on your toast and it’s golden
Thats a strange move, they never sell the unsalted one in the republic anyway for some reason, could buy it in the North though.
What manner of Trickery is this?
“European default butter is unsalted”
Are you sure it’s not just lower salt than in Ireland rather than unsalted?
Hasn’t this been the default for ages? Or am I missing something?
Unsalted should be the default.
Imagine having buttered toast with jam. Salted jam? Who wants that?
It’s lactic in the Middle East. Tastes totally different. Just sayin’ yano lyke
I Cant Believe its Not Salted
French here.
I did not realize there was a color code. What is it?
Can’t for the hell of me tell the difference between unsalted and salted! Isn’t unsalted more likely to be fresher?
I was recently in New Jersey in America and I couldn’t believe the amount of Kerrygold in all the supermarkets. I’m so glad it was there because American butter is absolutely rotten
