According to the [memes](https://www.boredpanda.com/funny-finland-memes-jokes/), it appears you are just fine. In all seriousness, how do you cope with such arctic blasts and deep freezes as now? Even if the memes are exaggerated, it seems that Finns are pros at handling this kind of weather.

We have warm clothes and insulated houses.
It’s 20-21c in my apartment, why would I be cold?
If I go outside I’ll put on an extra layer of merino wool which keeps me (and presumably anyone else) warm just fine.
How many threads do we need about the weather…
Id say this is still within completely normal winter. If it gets even colder I might wear a wooly sweater under the coat!
I mean life would kinda suck if you didn’t handle it, and the tools for dealing with the weather exist because they are necessary here. It’s nothing magical, it’s just adapting to the world around you the same way people in hot countries deal with the heat.
Erm. How can foreigners _not_ be able to handle shifts in temperature?
It’s a pretty simple matter of building your houses for all weathers – and wearing clothes for all weathers.
On a more serious note; the confusion arises from the fact that many cultures do in fact not build (and wear clothes) for all weathers, but rather the extremes are something to ”tough out” as a temporary thing that will pass.
This strategy has not endured in Finland, as those that have tried relying on it typically die pretty fast.
So: the combination of both prepapration + toughing out makes even pretty extreme weathers pretty simple stuff.
You just do. What are we supposed to do, not go to work or school?
