There is a key symbol, so it seems to be locked. Playing with the buttons won’t unlock it?
Try pressing – & + at the same time to unlock it.

The manual states that the buttons on the outer left and right pressed together unlock it, so you should be able to change the temperature after that.
I also like Sahara in my bathroom
