My old mate has found an Irish Football Association Cap. I figured this might be a good place to ask if anyone would have any knowledge of the history of these?

Was this really made in Belfast, Royal Avenue, over 110years ago?

Might be of interest to any historic football fans and would love any opinions/ feedback.
