  1. The US, UK, and Canada are reportedly set to present proposals to G7 leaders in February to finally utilize $300bn-plus in Russian assets frozen in the West.

  2. We’ll see. This would make every happy, except Putin. Something tells me crooked Russian money will stop it from going through however.

  3. Ukraine could buy quite a lot of Western weapons with $300 billion I bet.

  4. A LOT more than that of Russia’s should belong to Ukraine.

We can start with 90% of Russia’s embassies and consulates in the civilized world. No need for the vast majority of these nests of spies. Let them keep one in DC and one in Belgium (for the EU) and that’s it.

  5. So. I’ll be that guy. 300 billion is fantastic. But how much of the cost will that actually end up covering?

  6. Russia has done more than 300 Billion in damage to Ukraine. Giving it to Ukraine should be a no-brainer.

  7. The USA is spending just $1.5 billion to increase our artillery manufacturing capacity from 14,000 shells/month to 100,000/month. Another $5 billion would surely double it again. Similar investments could be made in the US and Europe to increase production of the weapons and ammo Ukraine needs. Let Russia build up NATO’s military industrial complex.
