Yer it’s the same with most animals. I reckon it’s where dragons came from, people finding extinct animals and trying to imagine what it could be. Imagine finding a trex skull with no idea what a dinosaur even was
how does this have anything to do with being british?
The more I read about how much paleontologists are “discovering” about dinosaurs, based on 100,000,000 year old bones, the less credence I give it.
