My Ukrainian language tutor in the U.S. is a former lawyer in Ukraine, now student in the U.S. She is a Ukrainian patriot, too, like all except one I met here in the U.S. There was a Ukrainian dental assistant from Mikolaiv who tried to convince me that Russia is building schools and hospitals to help Russian speaking Ukrainians. I almost spit in the middle of dental surgery telling her of the truth of the situation. She left Ukraine before 2014, obviously… while Russia was trying to twist the minds of Russian-speaking Ukrainians, like her.
