  2. Not surprised. I took my girlfriend to a David copperfield show when we were at University. He had a trick where he asked for volunteers, and picked a beautiful college girl from the audience. He brought her on stage, and pretended to be romantic, giving her flowers and generally being really creepy. Then he performed an “ultrasound” on her belly, and the image was projected onto a large flat screen. The “baby” was a fetus with his face on it, insinuating that he had knocked her up. It was really weird and not that funny. The rumors of him being a creep are numerous. If he was willing to be that weird in front of an audience, I can only imagine how he is when a crowd isn’t present.
