  2. Due to this video I just realized something. Since the FPV drones started showing up on large scale, it seems just impossible to launch any kind of coordinated (big) attack.

    Earlier in the war the DJI like drones would spot you early and you’d get hit by artillery and rockets and whatnot on arrival because they’d know you were coming. This early detection had already changed the methods of warfare.

    But because of the FPV drones you can not only spot an attack early, it’s also possible to launch an early, fast, cheap and effective counter. It takes out infantry, IVF’s and tanks all the same. There is hardly any countermeasure. At this point any large scale assault is already doomed to fail as soon as you’re spotted.

    So for any front to change significantly, one side must have a serious advantage over the other. Like very assymetrical. Ukraine is totally dependent on our help. If that stops, Russia will have the sort of advantage needed to make a successful push. Or if we want Ukraine to win, we need to step up our game big time. Balls to the wall. Full send. The stuff we have sent thusfar is no longer giving them the advantage it might have given them the first year of the war.

  5. Stuff of nightmare, training can only get you so far, luck even works better than training in Ukraine. Russia should just f***ing go home.

  10. So what do the other 3 do? Go and hide for the rest of the war or run back to base and get sent straight back out with 5 new friends?
