Back to the “bunker”. I think it’s great. You only live once, so something like this is perfect.

All luxurious amenities in these “bunkers” require vast supply chains to keep working, which are very vulnerable during chaotic times (fuel, lubricants, replacement parts, water treatment chemicals, etc).
These “bunkers” are nowhere comparable to wartime shelters and bunkers. These places can exist for years because they only need to have barely enough amenities for basic demands such as food, water, security. And these places can only be secure because people inside them live in a relatively egalitarian environment, helping and protecting each other, which is unlikely the case in such “bunkers”.
We all have heard about “swatting”. I propose a new game: Whoever gets the most billionaires convinced the apocalypse is happening and have them hide in their bunkers indefinitely, wins.
Slower way to go. While the rest of the country stays where they are.

Not surprising that the one guy who made a data hoarding apparatus used for the manipulation for democracies and became obscenely wealthy in the process would make his own opulent bunker.

when shit REALLY hits the fan, no one is going to be there to take them to their private islands i would imagine? unless they have some sort of pre-planned deal that they will stay with them in the bunker or something. i’d imagine if the world was about to end, the last thing a pilot wants to do is fly these rich mfers to safety while they have nowhere to go? lol
And who’s going to run that facility? Clean, cook, provide security? The staff who have families on the outside? It takes one internal disgruntled employee to take it all down. The idea of these large scale bunkers is insane. I get small family size “prepper” bunkers because they can be operates by family, but these big ones are ridiculous
