Embarrassing and complete mockery of what the status is meant to be used for
There also should be a statue outside to represent everyone who’s gone “fuck I’m meant to be going out for drinks in Soho after work and haven’t any food yet so I’ll just pop in and get a sandwich”, which this shop seems to do 90% of its trade from.
I noticed the one in Goodge Street has been closed. Annoying as I used to pop in to get a new deal at work.
Meanwhile, nearly all the good rock bars have now gone from soho (eg intrepid fox, crobar) or the venues down Denmark st. But yeah, thank fuck tesco is ok.
Meanwhile there’s a blue plaque going up outside the one in Portcullis House to commemorate Wine Time Fridays.
And they say the British ain’t got no culture!
