  1. I mean, if you fulfill the requirements any international can go for free/very cheap to a german university. What’s your point?

  3. Hahaha wait until you have to deal with the dreadful and absolutely horrific government offices to get a visa or worse get a work visa. Germany has a lot to offer, if you have the patience to deal with the German government bureaucracy. They still accept correspondences fax and use teletype printers.

  4. German universities usually do offer “degrees of the masses” like economics in English but beyond that, the options are very limited. Germany generally isn’t a good place for international students, it’s much less English-friendly than for example the Netherlands.

    The kind of post-graduate guest researcher avenue seems to work better, I have a lot of those in my department.

  6. It’s not easy to bring your family if you are studying in Germany though…
