Well seeing how Russians perform on a battlefield just takes a lot of the fear away.
Nobody watching the barbaric cruelty that comes at the hands of Russia could possibly want that for their country and their families. Finland, being on the border and having russia invade them in the past must be very much alive to this possible reality. Their will to fight against that kind of brutality and subjugation to wealthy Putin ass-licking oligarchs comes as no surprise.
Russia will meet its match if it ever tries anything in Finland. They will meet a strongly motivated and well-equipped military with excellent military doctrine and will perish.
Remember that there was a Europe-wide poll about people’s will to defend their country just before Ukraine war started. That poll showed Finland as pretty much the only country with higher will to defend than Ukraine had. And now our will to defend is even higher…
So if Russia invaded, what exactly would the local population have access to in the form of weapons? I’m talking about the people who aren’t conscripted/volunteer. Are there armories that would equip citizens? My old .410 shotgun is not going to cut it.
