My dad and Norm the hedgehog

Last year I made [This post about my dad having a picture of a hedgehog taken on his nature cam, being shown in The One Show.](https://www.reddit.com/r/CasualUK/s/zQwjzrOOWO)

My dad really took to the hedgehog that visited his garden daily, he even named her Norm (as in Spiny Norman).So just before Christmas he found her in the garden not moving, took her to the local hedgehog rescue. They said said she was very underweight and (since found out) She had Fluke, Flat Worm and some other parasite. Weight down from 900 to 500 grams. Her weight is back up to a less sitting number and he’s been told to release her at 19:30.

He’s really taken to looking after the hedgehog and thinks it might be his thing now he’s retired.

hopefully he’ll create more spaces for more nests and leave more food out. He’s even created an area Norm can eat his food without cats getting it.

Just thought I’d share, he’s chuffed with his involvement in helping Norm.
