We need some of that energy on this side of the pond.
What greedy mega corporations forget is that a big rise in prices will have a corresponding effect on demand. Some consumers will cut back while others will change to a cheaper alternative. A significant number of consumers will drop out of the soda market entirely.
Today’s market has so many options of sodas and other drink types making the change easy.
The thing that insulates these mega corporations is that they may already own many of the drink alternatives.
I am curious to see which force will be stronger.
