Jaysus, are you me? I got the ferry from Belfast to Cairnryan on Tuesday, and had to stop at the Centra off the motorway in Athlone before I went to get a pack of Keoghs and a chicken fillet roll. For all they do well, the Scots can’t make a fucking sandwich to save their lives. My partner brings home a sandwich from her bakery for lunch for me. Fancy pants bread, home cured ham, heirloom tomatoes…and butter. That’s it. I have to open it up and put in some lettuce or onion or garlic mayo or coleslaw or fucking something to make it a decent lunch.
Tis criminal altogether Joe.
