Balde completed passes today. Lacking attacking threat

  1. If Cancelo is fit next game then its time for Cancelo to run it back for a while at LB to make Balde hungry to regain his spot back and then play Kounde at RB

  2. I mean those offensive passes are usually harder to pull off. Would be nice with a comparison.

  3. His crosses were abysmal. I kept asking myself, why are we depending on him so much on the left. And his link up play with Torres seemed non-existent.

  4. I’m glad you posted this because I didn’t want this to go under the radar. His passing in the final third was soooo bad I was genuinely getting frustrated

  5. Balde is great defensively, can progress and carry the ball well enough but his final third output is an area that is a weakness. I don’t understand why Xavi doesn’t utilise Balde to his strengths more and use him so that his weaknesses are minimised in a game. A manager has to work to his players strengths so that their shortcomings aren’t that evident but I feel more often than not, that’s not the case for Balde (and some other players in the squad as well). Seeing him having to occupy that whole left side, running up and down for the full 90 is unsustainable which is why he gets tired by the 60-70th minute. It’s not the correct way to utilise him as many others on here have said before as well.
