  1. Read: Southern Lebanon now belongs to Israel. Don’t like it? Fuck off, world, we’re taking it.

  2. As someone who is currently in a border town, Israel wants the UN to enforce resolution 1701, which both parties agreed to. Israel complied and pulled its forces back to the designated areas and the UN even confirmed it.

Hezbollah and HAMAS have been sending rockets, drones, mortars and fires ATGMs on Civilian targets, Manara is damaged as hell(an evacuated civilian town) and civilians have been killed by ATGM attacks.

I have personally watched rockets and drones smack down in my neighborhood and anyone who thinks Israel wants to take over southern lebanon should seek mental help

Israel has been in talks with Lebanon to try to get the lebanese government to step in an mediate, but the Lebanese government rather talk about land disputes regarding Sheba farms and Ghajar which they claim is Lebanese territory occupied by Israel even though both Israel and Syria say its occupied Syrian territory currently held by Israel

  3. Stop Listening to Netanyahu’s Predictions of a Post-War Israel Challenge 2024

  4. Maybe if the UN enforced its decisions this wouldn’t happen.

  5. I mean, yeah. There are over 100,000 displaced Israelis who can’t live in their homes because Hizbula keeps firing rockets at them and sending drones.

Maybe if the UN peacekeepers actually did their job Israel wouldn’t be the one who had to act on that.

  6. i24 is an Israeli news network last time I checked, so this announcement makes sense using this platform.

  7. This sounds like the best course of action, ultimately. Until the twin threats of Hamas and Hezbollah are dealt with and silenced, there will forever be dangers on the country’s borders.

Besides, Lebanon is a failed state and its attempts at multiethnic governance has evidently contributed to its collapse. Its population would have a higher standard of life, economic freedom and social liberation under Israel’s jurisdiction. If the only true democracy in the Middle East is expanding its borders, this can only be a good thing.

  8. Interesting headline. He said fundamental changes along the border. He did not say fundamental changes TO the border, which I think is a major difference.
