Hi, I just flew into Riga from Charles de Gualle. Unfortunately, security was heinous and for some reason confiscated my pack of goldfish crackers and my SD card reader for my digital camera. I’m only here for three weeks and was looking forward to being able to easily access the photos I take and delete them off the camera to save storage, but my plan has been completely thwarted. Is there anywhere near or around Old Town Riga I might be able to get one? I’ll attach a picture to make myself more clear.

  1. Search online for RD Electronics or Euronics, they are the most common big electronic stores. The closest one to old town could be near the station in Origo

  2. Look out for RD electonics, Euronics, BalticData or iDeal. They should be withing walkable distance from the old town.
    First three are general electronics store, iDeal is like Apple Store (Apple partner).

  3. There is Evelatus, which should have it, in Origo.

    Galerija Centrs maybe has similar store, but I am not sure

  4. Do you travel without laptop? Iphone/Ipad sd reader is going to be a little niche and expensive.

  5. Others have already suggested the best options, but I just wanted to ask — what was the reasoning for seizing your card reader?
