  1. > On March 22, 2018 Mr Murrell loaned the SNP £7,500 which was then paid back just weeks later on April 4. And then, later that same month on the 25th he handed them the same amount, before this was then refunded just two days later. This was not declared to the Electoral Commission until October 30, 2023.

Can anyone familiar with this sort of thing explain this? It seems really bizarre, though perhaps there’s a sensible reason in the world of political parties I’m just not familiar with.

Not sure any reason would excuse the fact they seem to repeatedly move money between them and the party without reporting in line with the rules.

He didn’t report the £107k in line with the rules either.

Is there any legitimate reason for not reporting? I’m not sure the CEO of the party not knowing about or understanding the rules makes much sense. He has to know.

If there’s nothing dodgy going on, why wouldn’t you report it? I can’t think of any credible reason not to just follow the rules.

  2. The Daily Express along with the DM should be blocked from posting on reddit lol

  3. When does this fit chronologically with sturgeon lying to her nec about the state of the party finances?

  4. Glad to see justice being done. Hopefully this can be settled

  5. Another smear publication to divert from the tory incompetence. Do they actually think that 15k is significant ? its a rounding error in comparison to the numbers involved in organisations of this size.

  6. U/Halk special again. Political hit job post. Starmer got you back to work again?
