Nonant division of Europe around the geographical center

  1. Russia always skews the Geographical Center to the point of it becoming non-sensical.

    Almost like it doesn’t belong.

  2. This is not a center of Europe. Look at the distance from west end to center and east end to centre. They should be equal but they’re not. Geographical center is more to the south East direction, perhaps in Central Europe – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary.

  3. Surprisingly sane… Usually these kind of dividing attempts are horrible but there are quite a lot of things that actually make a bit of sense. Not fully of course, there is still thousand year of wars that would come back to haunt us if we actually did it..

  4. Yeah, lets stop calling Russia Europe, especially if it’s for purposes like these.

  5. Ridiculous map, southern Portugal in the same group as hungary, Czech Rep, Slovakia and Croatia.

  6. How can it be the center of Europe if it’s not the center of the map???? Are you stupid?????

    s/

  7. Best thing about this map is The Greater Finland in the north.

  8. So how many people will notice here the special treatment Italy and Denmark gets. Give your capes where they belong bottomlickers!!

  9. When I think of Europe, I don’t think of Russia, so I always imagine a more western geographical center. I see the Russian border (from Barents Sea in the north, to Azov Sea in the south) as the limit between Europe and… I want to say Asia, but Russia doesn’t fit in the Asian category (maybe I’m biased by the cultural aspect of it).

  10. So is there scientific reason why no ants live in that area?

  11. So Central Europe is a thing, and Poland is a part of it

  12. Queue Poles celebrating someone finally considers them Central Europe 😀

    It’s okay, I’m Polish 😛
