  1. During his visit, he discussed Antarctic research in wartime conditions with the crew. Additionally, he left a note in Ukrainian, expressing his sentiments about Putin (photo by National Antarctic Science Center).

  2. Wow I had no idea Liev Schreiber had roots from Urkaine.

  3. Don’t want to sound rude or disrespectful, but a few mistakes in the handwriting seem kinda adorable to me 😅 Grateful for the support anyway! 💙💛

  4. And here’s an example of how helping Ukraine benefits us. The USCG is struggling to get crews & icebreakers of their own with Russia breaking out numerous nuclear icebreakers for the northern passage. Meanwhile, Ukraine has an icebreaker already in operation helping out research programs in the Antarctic. The problem would be ensuring that Russia doesn’t raid or sink the Noosphere.

  5. I visited Vernadsky in 2014. An amazing place with such an incredible history.. they actually have the southernmost bar in the world, I got to try a shot of the locally distilled vodka and got a sweet patch for my backpack. It was actually my first contact with Ukrainian people and culture, fantastic experience all around! Slava Ukraini from 🇮🇹

  6. This guy has always been the real deal for democracy! Excellent actor also.
