We are Raven and the Dark Shadows, a rock band out of Miami Beach, Florida.
We are coming to Europe in July for a small tour that culminates in the first musical performance at the Catacombs since 1897 as part of the 2024 Paris Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
Leading up to our historic performance, we will be having small intimate performances in haunted (or rumored to be haunted) spaces. We will be filming both concert footage and music footage in these places.
Since Reddit has always been a great forum for us to find places in the States, we are wondering if you guys had any suggested haunted venues that could work for a small music performance. We also were wondering if anyone here would like to help out and be extras in the film (we have extra masks). If interested in being an extra, please send a PM.
For those of you not aware of our music, here is a link to our Spotify
Thanks and hope to hear back soon

Haunted is a bit far fetch’d, but some ideas:
* Lake Bodom – a site of unsolved mass murder
* Isle of Seili – former internment camp and mental asulym for women
* Leväluhta spring – iron age sacraficial / burial site, famous from blood red spring that spews out human bones
Nice creepy Johnny Cash vibes.

Haiharan kartano in Tampere is famously haunted by the blue maiden. She was a worker at the house who became pregnant, unmarried, to a man who refused to acknowledge the kid as his. To save herself from the back then miserable life of an unmarried mother, she threw herself to the nearby lake to drown herself. Only to add to her terrible death she broke her legs in the progress. Story says she wanders the mansion and the grounds dressed to blue veil, with no legs, hovering just above the ground.
These days it’s an art gallery that occasionally hosts small concerts. I have no idea if it would work out in any cinematic sense for a music video though, despite it being referred to as a mansion it’s a fairly small house.

There is a tv series called ”Aaveiden Jäljillä”, ”Tracking the Ghosts”. They went to Turun Linna, Jäänmurtaja Tarmo, Vuojoen kartano, svenska teatern, Louhisaaren kartano, patarein vankila, vanajanlinna and Suomenlinna.
Svartå slott (Literally: Blackriver Castle) in Raseborg is said to be haunted by the White Lady and is one of the most famous haunted castles in Finland. The Manor/Castle takes events so you can check them out here. https://www.mustionlinna.fi/en/
Raseborgs slott (Literally: Rasekeep Castle) is a castle ruin in Raseborg that looks absolutely horrifying at night or in fog. It’s located on a large rock on a field and looks very imposing. The insides of the castle is spooky as well and I think there are some ghost stories from there too. https://raseborgsslott.fi/en/

In Oulu Jumpru pub/ club Kaarlenholvi is noted as haunted. The house is old, and in one point of its history it was a prison cell. It is rumored that a drunken sailor was left for dead there, and now haunts there centuries later. The bar staff says that the ghosts presence is the strongest when the place is closed and cleaned. The old sailor sadly does not like to rave with EDM.
Honestly the number of people who believes in haunting in Finland won’t fill a small bar.
Just come with your rock and roll and you’ll be fine.
