Both political parties are pledging to fight the affects of flooding to gain votes but ignore the fundamental reasons for people being affected by flooding.

The lack of housing stock and personal financial situations are forcing people to live in places that are no longer feasible to live.

Pledges to fight flooding are all short sighted, empty promises with diminishing return.
If people were to live in houses not at risk of flood, we wouldnt have the issue in the first place.

Putting these issues onto the Environment Agency is irresponsible. EA funds to fight flooding is wasting money for their true purpose.

Our government owes us more.
