I know the gift card is not eligible for buying other gift cards, buying digital products or buying subscriptions.
However, the products I am buying are basic skincare products. While some of the products are being eligible for gift card balance deduction, there are some which are not. (See attached image in this case Amazon asks me to use my credit card because my gift card balance cannot be used. If I use my credit card, then Amazon charges me the full price of this product).
The only reason I could think of was that some products are compliant with EU law and have a description about the selling entity in EU. But probably where the description of the selling entity in EU is missing, Amazon does not allow me to purchase using the gift card balance.
Anyone has experienced similar issue? Or anyone knows the reason why this is happening? Please help and share advise.
