  1. Nelnet has not been helpful at all. Tried to do a forbearance for 6 months and they denied it. Won’t lower payments either.

  2. Biden administration rules…..Say absolutely anything to get votes and stay in office. Doesn’t matter if it’s legal, or if it gets voted down by the Supreme Court. People hear or read a headline and run with it. Doesn’t matter if it’s actually true. Biden hasn’t made a true statement yet. That’s how we ended up with him as President and are living in a dying America thanks to him. So sad.

  3. For those suffering from inflation and didn’t go to school… you are paying for that….

  4. Republicans will scream about why should I have to pay for your education with my tax dollars, accusing dems of buying votes, as they force us to fund tax break after tax break that benefits their wealthy business owning donors.

Like that isn’t buying votes as well.

  5. So Biden’s admin has forgiven 7% of the total US student loan debt. Such amazing progress, guys.

  6. Why aren’t student loans just be tax write-offs like the richies do with their jets?

  7. I don’t understand why people think taxes are footing the bill. The administration is FIXING problems. I.e. students who paid toward their loan are finally getting the credit deserved. They’re curtailing snowballing interest. How is the US Dept of Education work even a partisan or political football when they’re literally fixing problems. The US Dept of Education is also making sure the loan services are getting the bills accurate and timely to the students.

  8. Another 132 billion to add to the 34 trillion deficit. I wish I’d had taken out some student loans rather than going yo work…
