I’m a Producer and Cinematographer in the USA, but my mother was born and raised in Newport. Just finally got my UK passport, and since I’m 31, not married, and have no kids (that I know of), the time might be right to do something big. (And of course, the upcoming Presidential Election is cause enough to want to get out of the country).
I really have no idea what the work and hiring culture is like over there – here, other than just typical job posting boards, I’d go to a creative staffing agency.
I’d be open to anything from short term contracts, to full time work – also not very picky about the specific kind of video work, as I’ve done a range of things from 4 years in Major League Soccer (I know, I know, it’s Football) to now a few years in Higher Ed. marketing.
