In the interest of science, i just measured my drink. With double concentrate, im at a ratio of 1:7.2, so assuming this is standard not double, a ratio of 1:4 doesn’t seem far off to me at all.
When I first moved to England I didn’t know what squad was, so I poured myself a whole glass of it with no water. I couldn’t believe you Brits genuinely enjoyed such a strong, sugary drink 🤢

Yea, we’re in the “enough to slightly favour the water” camp, as otherwise our water tastes funny after 5 mins exposed to the air!

however, there are some where she will literally drink it at 1:2 and that makes me squint lol
Is it high-juice? That does require a more generous ratio than regular squash
I like to taste it, so approx 1/6th is my usual, unless it was double or quadruple concentrate stuff.
