No police investigation after Prince Andrew among scores named in Jeffrey Epstein court papers

  1. The problem is even if you conclusively prove someone travelled to his island, stayed in his properties etc. That in itself is not a crime unless they’ve lied under oath saying differently. Actually having a reasonable prospect of conviction at the standard of beyond reasonable doubt that something sexual occurred specifically with that specific individual without collaborating witnesses, DNA, CCTV etc is always going to be a struggle unfortunately.

  2. What else was expected and I’m not referring to any conspiracy cobblers? The release of the papers was well trailed, anyone named in them was aware and no one appealed against their publication. A case of nothing to see here.

  3. Bow down and keep quiet in front of your betters, peasants.

  4. Because proving he did anything illegal under British law as it stood in 2001 would be damn near impossible.

  5. I know this doesn’t hold up in court, but it’s very difficult to believe Prince Andrew is innocent when you think of this situation like a venn diagram.

On the left circle you have Jeffrey Epstein trafficking underage girls for rich powerful men. On the right circle you have the rich powerful men visiting Jeffery Epstein for access to the underage girls. There is no doubt about this (Maxwell was prosecuted for her role).

We also know that Prince Andrew is a rich powerful man who visited Jeffery Epstein. But crucially he wants you to believe that he isn’t part of the venn diagram intersection.

Although Jeffery Epstein was trafficking girls for rich powerful men. And Prince Andrew is a rich powerful man visiting Jeffery Epstein. Prince Andrew apparently never took part in these activities nor did he know what was going on. If we are to believe Prince Andrew, he visited Jeffery Epstein because for some other reason they just happened to be good friends like they play badminton together or something 😂

  6. That £12m Lizzie stole from the taxpayer sure is paying for itself isn’t it

  7. There could be a literal video of Prince Andrew doing a bit of the underage in out in out and there still wouldn’t be an investigation.

  8. Why would there be?

Dozens of paedo rape gangs existed in Rotherham etc for decades and police helped cover them up…

The media then downplayed it and only admitted it once “he who must not be named” leaked too much evidence of it.

BBC fully supported and helped Jimmy Saville.

Britains top brass, media, police etc are full of nonces.

Ask ANYONE who has been in the system as a child. I have known 4 people who went through foster care. All raped from a young age and police did nothing.

Britain is nonceland. Everyone knows this deep down. But anyone who tries to out this gets banned from being on any platform. Funny that.

  9. They were never going to investigate.

The rich and wealthy are immune to the law.

Why are people still surprised by this? We have a lady in the house of lords telling people that she broke the law like everyone else that did it with her and nothing is being done.

    Kill the shoplifters though.

  10. My fiance tried to tell me that this was it. This was the beginning of the end for him. I said “He went to the island, he stayed at the resort, he took drugs, maybe gambled. Gave Epstein a big old hug. So what?” Can’t prove he stuck his dick in a girl who was trafficked. Nobody can for any of the names. Witnesses can testify which will get us closer to resolution but there won’t be a magic bullet here.

  11. Royals are the ultimate ‘nice but dim’ types so I kinda believe Andrew was oblivious to Epstein’s shenanigans.

  12. How his family have treated him is evidence enough of how this lot work.

  13. Lets organise a non-violent peaceful flashmob where modest protest groups will turn up at every single Royal Engagement on their official Royal Diary of public engagements. They will hold up placards saying “*Prince Andrew talk to the FBI please*”. To make it more awkward they queue for hours to ensure they are at the front of the crowd barriers so press photographers will see the placards. Also all local areas will get hand out flyers with Prince Andrew quotes, from his Newsnight interview given to members of the public on the day. The longer that goes on, the more it will shame The Royal Family into pushing out Andrew.

    **Shame them**

  14. They could but it would be an enourmous waste of resources as they’d find nothing and he could even claim it therefore exonerates him.

  15. There could be literal videos showing him balls deep in a child and nothing would happen. He is untouchable (if only the same could be said for the girls who came into contact with him).

  16. Reminds me of “There was no Russian interference because we didn’t look”.

I’m paraphrasing ofc but that was infuriating, I expected a report saying everything was grand but that response was galling..and after such a long wait too.

  17. If there is no new evidence to convict him then that is the only possible outcome. The law works for victim and defendants alike, so if we have no grounds to convict him (yet) then he has every right to remain free. Does he know more than he is letting on? Probably. Can we convict him on a court of law based upon that assumption? No.

  18. But muh monarchy but muh tourism but muh soft power

  19. Of course not. Consequences are for the peasants, not for our overlords. The worst that will come of this is he might be pushed out of his palace into a slightly smaller and less historically significant mansion.

  20. Am I being dense, but witness testimony is evidence isn’t it? Unless the fact that it’s from an American court is the problem?

  21. My [prediction](https://old.reddit.com/r/unitedkingdom/comments/18yj9r7/prince_andrew_reported_to_the_police_as/kgf2xsq/)

    > Let me guess… “We’ve seen no evidence of any crimes being committed and we don’t investigate things in the past anyway”

    The reality:

    > A statement by the Met said: “We are aware of the release of court documents in relation to Jeffrey Epstein.

    > “As with any matter, should new and relevant information be brought to our attention we will assess it.

    > “No investigation has been launched.”

    So “We’ve seen no evidence”.

The bastards even went to court to defend their right to ignore evidence when challenged by the Good Law Project over partygate.

  22. The way he is so obviously protected by the police, the royal family and politicians, in spite of being clearly guilty of sleeping with an underage girl under duress (the girl, not him, just in case you were wondering), just shows you what kind of world we really live in.

If anything, however horrific this tale is, however unjust , the positive here is that it opened our eyes to what is behind the curtain.

There is nothing nice behind the curtain.
