I can’t help but play Monday morning quarterback here , but if it was me , I wouldn’t be waiting around for a ride back sitting around in a group. I’d be legging it out of there as fast as I could back to my own lines hoping a single soldier or a spread out line of them would not be worth a cluster munition or a drone dropped grenade.
